Join Us at the Iris Festival
Today we will be out at the Iris Festival in Yucaipa promoting SB Raceway.
Come and see us at the 12th Annual Yucaipa Iris Festival. It is sure to be a family fun-filled event.
Event organizers are anticipating the attendance for 2013 to exceed 20,000 people.
The Iris Festival is a perfect family outing with activities for kids, adults and everyone in between. The main attraction is the beautiful flowers that are showcased courtesy of the Yucaipa’s Community Center. It features the city flower -- the Iris, as well as many other gorgeous blooms.
For the music lovers, the Yucaipa Iris Festival has live entertainment in the outdoor amphitheater! There is a Kids' Fun Zone that, according to popular opinion, only gets better every year. The Kids Zone includes bounce houses, obstacle courses, Rock Climbing Wall, Midway Games and face painting. The Home & Garden Expo features local commercial businesses and--BECAUSE THAT IS WHERE YOU CAN FIND US--is one of the main attractions of the festival.
The Yucaipa Iris Festival has been awarded Favorite San Bernardino County Community Event by the Press Enterprise Readers’ Choice 2005 -- so by all means, don't miss it!
A Night for Family Entertainment
We recently attended a booth at the Yucaipa Market Night Street Fair on friday nights.
We were fortunate enough to have a space just across the way from the Kid's Fun Zone. We loved the location for obvious reasons and were pleased with the response we got from local Yucaipa residents.
If you have never been to Yucaipa Market Night in quaint downtown Yucaipa, you should. It has some of the best outside food vendors you will find anywhere. The locals are friendly and the atmosphere was very family oriented.
The downtown area of Yucaipa Blvd between California and Bryant streets is blocked off from 6pm to 9pm. There is live music and children enjoy the bounce houses and a large blow up slide. The crowd varies in age, with a fair sampling from every age group.
Whether you want to dine out after a long work week, hear some good live music, take the kids outdoors to play or stroll the row of vendors with a date, there is something for everyone.
Of course, once you've enjoyed your time strolling downtown Yucaipa, be sure to bring your family and friends for some more fun to SB Raceway and take advantage of our date night special -- where you and your significant other both race for just $25.00!
No doubt, if you are looking for a good, clean family outing idea, it will be just the thing to start the weekend off right!

Local Blogger Features SBR for Family Activities, Events and More
A Blog About Summer Activities for Kids and Families in the Inland Empire
SBR was featured in a blog on the website IE Family Fun as a fun place to go in the inland empire.
The website is a popular "go to" for finding out what is happening locally and features up-and-coming events and activities in the community. Their primary target is families with kids...as such, much of what they present is geared toward children's recreation and child appropriate entertainment.
If you have kids and are looking for something fun to do for summer break, check out IE Family Fun for their latest info.
We appreciate their showcasing SBR on their blog and wanted to reciprocate with a word about them here...They do have a comprehensive list of local events, activities and family recreation in the community. They cover popular inland cities like Redlands, Rialto, San Bernardino, Loma Linda, Highland and the rest.
