Official rules and instructions
- Reckless driving: Any driving that endangers others or risks damage to karts, track, or personnel will result in immediate loss of driving privileges and forfeiture of fees.
- No bumping: Our karts are not “bumper cars.” Intentional bumping is considered reckless driving.
- Secure loose items: Do not race with loose items, loose clothing, or unsecured long hair. If in doubt, check with the front desk before racing.
- Helmet policy: Approved helmets are required, with hygienic liners provided for shared helmets. Personal helmets may be used with staff approval.
- No impaired driving: Driving under the influence of alcohol, prescription, or illegal drugs is strictly prohibited.
- Hot surfaces: Use care entering and exiting; engine components may be hot enough to cause burns.
- Controls: Throttle is operated with your right foot; brake is operated with your left foot.
- Pit speed: Maximum speed in the pit area is walking speed.
- Stay in your kart: Never get out while on the track. If you need assistance, pull to the side, raise your hand, and wait for staff.
- If you feel sick: Pull into the pit and take a break.
- Restricted areas: Do not walk onto the track or beyond any divided partitions.
- Hands on wheel: Steer with both hands in the 10 and 2 o’clock positions.
- Obey signals: Pay attention to and comply with all flag signals and track personnel instructions.
- Enforcement: Rule violations may be sufficient to revoke driving privileges and forfeit any fees paid.
