Go‑kart driving rules

Rules, regulations, and instructions designed to keep every driver safe while maximizing fun.

Safety is the most important element

Your safety is our number one concern. Please read and follow all rules before you race.

Official rules and instructions

  1. Reckless driving: Any driving that endangers others or risks damage to karts, track, or personnel will result in immediate loss of driving privileges and forfeiture of fees.
  2. No bumping: Our karts are not “bumper cars.” Intentional bumping is considered reckless driving.
  3. Secure loose items: Do not race with loose items, loose clothing, or unsecured long hair. If in doubt, check with the front desk before racing.
  4. Helmet policy: Approved helmets are required, with hygienic liners provided for shared helmets. Personal helmets may be used with staff approval.
  5. No impaired driving: Driving under the influence of alcohol, prescription, or illegal drugs is strictly prohibited.
  6. Hot surfaces: Use care entering and exiting; engine components may be hot enough to cause burns.
  7. Controls: Throttle is operated with your right foot; brake is operated with your left foot.
  8. Pit speed: Maximum speed in the pit area is walking speed.
  9. Stay in your kart: Never get out while on the track. If you need assistance, pull to the side, raise your hand, and wait for staff.
  10. If you feel sick: Pull into the pit and take a break.
  11. Restricted areas: Do not walk onto the track or beyond any divided partitions.
  12. Hands on wheel: Steer with both hands in the 10 and 2 o’clock positions.
  13. Obey signals: Pay attention to and comply with all flag signals and track personnel instructions.
  14. Enforcement: Rule violations may be sufficient to revoke driving privileges and forfeit any fees paid.

Thank you for your cooperation. We wish you the most enjoyable and exciting racing experience.
